Channel Markers

The Channel Marker team's main focus is safety, not only for property owners on the chain but for the boating public that accesses the chain through use of the boat landings.

Currently Rocky Gust, Tim Grove and Don Broadbridge volunteer in spring and fall to install and remove the channel markers. Additional volunteers are always welcome. Please send an email to president@moenlakechain.org if interested.

Any changes or additions to the channel markers must be approved by one of the three townships (Pine Lake, Pelican and Stella) the Moen Lake Chain occupies as well as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The Moen Lake Chain Association covers the cost of the Channel Marker program and improvements through annual membership dues, donations and DNR grants.
